Care tips

General instructions for care of my hand felted felt pieces

• If you want to clean your felted product after a longer period of time I recommend hand  washing. It is certainly preferable to machine washing because you can control it.  Manipulate it with care so that it does not become smaller.
• After washing rinse thoroughly
• Washed felt pieces can be spin-dried. While still humid they can easily be brought into the  form they had before
• Felt pieces can be ironed at medium temperatures.
• Please do not wring wet felt pieces and above all do not tumble-dry them. By doing the latter you risk it becoming much smaller!
• In order to avoid moth infestation use neem oil, a 2% solution with alcohol. Applied every  two months this treatment will optimally protect your wool pieces.
